ACCESS THE NATURAL ORGANIC APPROACH TO HAIR LOSS, WITH PRP HAIR REJUVENATION

PRP Hair Rejuvenation is a non-surgical treatment to prevent and restore hair loss. Your blood is drawn and processed into Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), which is then injected into your scalp. The PRP stimulates reparative cells to enhance and strengthen follicle function. This reenergized process helps to rejuvenate and heal the affected hair loss areas. Thus PRP Hair Rejuvenation harnesses the body’s own healing power to invigorate new hair growth and inhibit further hair loss and thinning.

What does it Treat?

PRP Hair Rejuvenation can treat hair thinning, male pattern baldness, stress-related hair loss, hair loss due to hormonal changes or medical conditions, androgenetic alopecia, and hair loss or thinning as a normal part of aging.

How quickly will I see results?

You won’t see immediate hair growth improvement after your first treatment as results are gradual – and the process of renewal can go on for many weeks after the procedure. Multiple PRP therapy sessions are required to achieve healthy new growth of natural, thicker-looking hair.

You may experience temporary hair loss and shedding as new, healthier and thicker hair pushes out the existing hair shaft. Over time, more robust hair growth, density, texture and increased thickness of the hair shaft becomes more apparent.

Hair loss and thinning can be an extremely upsetting and frustrating condition. As the hair shafts thin and hair falls out, the dramatic change in your appearance may be difficult to accept and your self confidence may suffer.

A safe, natural and minimally invasive hair regenerating treatment, PRP Hair Rejuvenation is a non-surgical, non-scarring treatment that boasts little to no downtime. This highly effective, customizable treatment encourages growth of natural-looking thicker, healthy hair with a minimum of discomfort or disruption. Because it utilizes your own body’s material, the treatment is non-allergenic, so there is no risk of rejection.

PRP Hair Rejuvenation harnesses the healing power of the body’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to trigger new hair growth. The platelet-rich plasma is injected into your scalp and stimulates reparative cells through the use of growth factors and cytokines. These factors activate the production of new healthy follicular cell growth.

Over time, with the body’s amazing regenerative powers and continued PRP treatments; hair growth is improved, hair shafts are thickened and strengthened, the scalp is rejuvenated and hair density improves. Many patients find that their self-confidence gradually increases, as their problem areas resolve and rejuvenate.

Prior to the PRP Injection, a Microneedling device is applied to the pertinent scalp areas to create tiny holes on the scalp.

PRP Hair Rejuvenation injection treatment mainly involves three steps:

  1. The patient’s blood is drawn
  2. The blood is processed in a centrifuge machine
  3. The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is then injected into the numbed scalp

PRP Rejuvenation is ideal for both men and women who are concerned with loss or thinning hair and who want a treatment that is safe, aggressive but non-surgical.

A microneedling treatment is applied prior to the PRP injections. A handheld microneedling device is used to create tiny holes on the scalp. The micro-injuries that are created trigger the body to produce collagen and elastin to heal the damaged skin. This complements and further enhances the healing work accomplished by PRP injection.

Utilizing vacuum sealed blood centrifuge tubes, our Tight Clinic RN practitioners use a superior quality centrifuge to provide exceptional, high-quality platelet-rich plasma (PRP). These superior plasma components reduce the level of cell trauma and damage; thus resulting in the best possible treatment outcomes in hair rejuvenation.

In general, most patients undergo 3 distinct sessions, each occurring at 4 – 6 week intervals from your initial treatment, to see measurable results.

To maintain the therapy results, patients are recommended to go for single maintenance sessions every 4 – 6 months. The growth cycle for new hair is about three months, so most patients will see best results about 6 to 12 months after their first PRP hair restoration treatment.

For optimal results and additional savings, schedule a package of three treatments.

In general, PRP injections are not overly painful. It is very well tolerated so you may just feel pressure, or feel a sensation of tightness and discomfort. Depending on individual sensitivity levels, some patients may experience pain or soreness in the treated area. After the treatment, the injected area may appear bruised or discoloured, and feel tender.

To begin the treatment, clients will have a topical numbing cream applied to the desired area for approximately 30 to 45 minutes prior to the procedure. This will ensure minimal discomfort during the treatment.

While the area is numbing, your blood will be drawn and the PRP will be processed. Before the procedure begins, the area is cleansed and the numbing cream is removed.

Your Tight Clinic RN practitioner will first perform the micro-needling portion of the procedure. This will create tiny channels that stimulate a repair response, as well as provide a passage for any leftover PRP.

The RN practitioner will then inject the PRP into the scalp in a grid like fashion.

At the end of the treatment, your hair and scalp is cleansed and smoothed, and you will be given after-care information. You may drive home without any assistance, since no sedation or medication is given during the procedure. Post-treatment restrictions are minimal and are limited to at-home care guidance.

With time, clients feel great satisfaction at the robust healthy new growth of their own natural, thicker-looking hair.

IMPORTANT POST- TREATMENT INFORMATION:

  • Do not touch, press, rub or manipulate the treated area(s) for at least 8 hours after your treatment
  • Sleep with head slightly elevated to reduce the possibility of mild swelling
  • Take no blood thinning medications for 3 days after your procedure (if possible try for 7 days)
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, sun and heat exposure for at least 2 days after your treatment
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms and swimming for 2 days after your treatment
  • Do not use any hair products for at least 6 hours after your treatment. Be sure to take a hot shower and wash your hair that evening, after the treatment, to promote the effects of PRP.

The best candidates for PRP therapy are those whose hair loss is recent, as it can be difficult to revive long-dormant hair follicles.

With PRP Hair Rejuvenation treatment, some types of hair loss respond better than others. It is an effective treatment for male or female hair loss resulting from various forms of an autoimmune disorder called androgenetic alopecia, hereditary hair thinning, or male pattern baldness.

Ideal candidates tend to be at the beginning stages of thinning hair and have follicles that are still at least partially active. Ideally, a patient’s scalp will feature areas of so-called “weak-quality” hair growth where functioning hair follicles remain.

Generally, the best results are seen on people with overall weak follicles and those who have small areas of alopecia areata – which is hair loss due to your immune system accidentally attacking your hair follicles.

People with advanced hair loss or inactive follicles are not completely out of luck, as the results may occur slowly and require additional time and treatments.

While PRP is considered safe for most people, it is not recommended for anyone who has one of the following medical conditions: Hepatitis C, HIV, AIDS, or any type of blood cancer.
