Kelly Ross is the Medical Director at Tight Clinic and the Nurse Practitioner whose clinical oversight underpins every injectable treatment performed across both the King West and Yorkville locations. She doesn't hold a patient-facing chair — her role is foundational: as an NP, Kelly holds the authority to issue medical directives to the clinic's team of Registered Practical Nurses, establishing the protocols, scope boundaries, and safety standards that govern how injectable treatments are delivered at Tight Clinic.
Medical directives are the clinical framework through which Nurse Practitioners authorize regulated nurses to perform specific procedures — in this case, injectable treatments including neuromodulators and dermal fillers — within clearly defined parameters. For clients, this means that every Botox treatment, every filler placement, every regenerative protocol performed at Tight Clinic happens within a structure of documented clinical oversight, compliance with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) practice standards, and accountability that extends beyond the individual practitioner. Kelly reviews and maintains these directives, ensuring the nursing team's scope of practice remains current, safe, and aligned with evolving clinical guidelines.

Kelly's path to medical directorship reflects exactly the kind of depth this role demands. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree through the University of New Brunswick–Humber College in 2007 and spent formative years in acute care at Toronto General Hospital before completing her Master's Degree and Nurse Practitioner Certificate through Ryerson University in 2012. That acute care foundation — learning to read deteriorating patients, to make decisions under pressure, to understand risk at a granular level — informs how she approaches clinical oversight in an aesthetic setting. She also teaches future nurses within the Bachelor of Nursing program at Humber College, a role that reflects her belief that rigorous education is inseparable from safe practice.
Kelly's aesthetic medicine training began in 2016 at APT Injection Training, and she has since attended advanced injectable workshops to keep her knowledge current with evolving techniques and protocols. In 2024, she expanded her clinical scope significantly, completing advanced coursework in hormone replacement therapy and sex medicine, and now works collaboratively alongside physicians to provide comprehensive midlife women's health care — an extension of the integrative approach to wellness that defines Tight Clinic's model.
Beyond her clinical work, Kelly is a certified yoga teacher with training that spans disciplines: Bikram teacher training in 2013, followed by a 200-hour certification and restorative yoga course at Downward Dog Yoga Centre, and later prenatal and postnatal training through Yoga Mamas in Toronto and Blooma studio. It is, in its own way, consistent with how she approaches medicine — with attention to the whole person, sustained effort, and a genuine interest in how people move through the world.
