Our approach to chin filler at Tight Clinic King West starts with a proper proportional analysis. We assess your facial thirds, the relationship between your nose tip and chin, and the degree of projection needed to bring your profile into balance. We never inject to an arbitrary amount — we inject to achieve a specific, anatomy-guided result with the minimum product needed.
Your Master Nurse Injector performs a full lower face analysis — assessing chin projection, facial thirds, nasolabial angle, and the relationship between your chin and jawline. We photograph and map the injection plan. Nothing is injected until you understand and approve the approach.
~10 minutesWe select the right product for your anatomy and goals — Teosyal Ultra Deep, RHA3, RHA4, or Restylane Shaype — and apply prescription-strength topical numbing cream. The chin area tends to be well-tolerated, but we never rush the numbing step.
~20–30 minutesFiller is placed at targeted chin points using a fine needle, building projection and refining chin shape with each deposit. Most chin filler products contain lidocaine for comfort throughout. The injection is quick — 10–15 minutes — with immediately visible improvement in profile definition.
~10–15 minutesImmediate definition improvement, with mild swelling settling over 3–5 days. Swelling is typically minimal in the chin area. Final results are visible at 2 weeks — when we bring you back for your complimentary check-in to assess and discuss the outcome.

Chin filler is placed at targeted projection points using a fine needle. The injection takes 10–15 minutes. Immediate improvement in chin definition and lower face profile is visible right away.
Minimal swelling resolves within a few days. Final results are visible at 2 weeks — your complimentary follow-up appointment. We assess, discuss, and refine projection if needed. No extra charge.
At Tight Clinic King West,, chin filler is $650 per syringe (1ml). Most chin augmentation treatments use 1 syringe. Clients seeking more significant projection or combining with jawline work may use 1–2 syringes in total. No consultation fees, no hidden charges. Your Master Nurse Injector provides an exact recommendation and total cost at your free consultation — before you commit to anything.
Most clients need 1 syringe (1ml) for meaningful chin projection and definition. This is the most common treatment volume for first-time clients. Those seeking more significant projection improvement or combining chin and jawline treatment may use 1–2 syringes. Your injector will assess your lower face at your free consultation and give you a clear, honest recommendation before you agree to anything.
No — your consultation is always completely free at Tight Clinic King West. No obligation, no pressure to proceed on the day, and your injector will tell you honestly if chin filler is or isn’t right for your goals. We’d rather give you accurate advice than sell you a treatment you don’t need.
Plan for 45–60 minutes for your first appointment — including the consultation, proportional assessment, numbing, injection, and aftercare review. The injection itself is 10–15 minutes. The chin area tends to be well-tolerated, so appointments often move efficiently. Many King West and midtown clients book during a long lunch hour.
The chin area is generally well-tolerated — most clients find it more comfortable than lip filler. We apply prescription-strength topical numbing cream before every treatment, and the products we use contain lidocaine for added comfort during injection. Most clients describe mild pressure during the injection. The whole process is quick, and discomfort is brief.
Most clients experience minimal swelling for 2–5 days, with possible light bruising. The chin area tends to bruise less than the lips. You’ll look presentable within a day or two. Final results are visible at 2 weeks — when we bring you back for your complimentary follow-up to properly assess the outcome. Avoid exercise, heat, and alcohol for 24 hours.
For 3–5 days before your appointment: avoid blood thinners — aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E — which increase bruising risk. Avoid alcohol. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Inform your injector of any previous filler treatments in the chin or jawline area, as existing product placement affects where and how new filler is placed.
You’ll see immediate projection improvement right after treatment — the change in profile is visible in the chair. Mild swelling resolves over 3–5 days, during which your chin may look slightly more projected than the final result. Two weeks is when final results are accurately visible — the reason our complimentary 2-week follow-up is included with every treatment. This is when we assess, photograph, and discuss any refinements.
12–18 months for most clients — and often longer than cheek or lip filler. The chin has very low muscular mobility, meaning hyaluronic acid metabolizes slowly in this area. Structural products like Restylane Shaype and Teosyal RHA4 are specifically engineered for durability in chin and jawline applications. With regular maintenance, results build cumulatively and may require less product over time.
Yes — and this is often the most transformative aspect of non-surgical chin enhancement. By improving forward chin projection, filler corrects the visual relationship between the nose, lips, and chin. A more projected chin makes the nose appear smaller, the jawline appear sharper, and the overall profile more balanced. It’s one of the highest-impact lower face treatments per syringe of product used.
Yes — when done correctly, chin filler is undetectable. There’s nothing about the chin area that reveals filler placement the way lips can. Properly placed chin filler improves your proportions without any visible sign of treatment. You’ll simply look like a more defined, better-balanced version of yourself. Our King West clients describe the result as looking “more polished” or “more structured” — not filled.
Yes. All products we use — Teosyal Ultra Deep, RHA3, RHA4, and Restylane Shaype — are hyaluronic acid formulations that can be fully dissolved with hyaluronidase. Unlike a surgical chin implant, there is no permanent commitment with HA chin filler. If your goals change, the projection can be reduced or the filler dissolved entirely. This reversibility is one of the most important reasons to choose filler over surgery for initial chin augmentation.
All four are structural HA fillers — but they differ in texture, cohesivity, and ideal use case. Teosyal Ultra Deep is the firmest, designed for deep bone-level placement and significant projection. RHA4 is resilient and dynamic — structural but natural in movement. RHA3 is lighter — ideal for refinement and shape correction. Restylane Shaype uses NASHA technology for precise, durable chin point definition. Your injector selects based on your anatomy and the degree of projection needed.
At Tight Clinic King West, all chin filler treatments are performed by CNO-registered nurses under the medical oversight of our Nurse Practitioner Medical Director, Kelly Ross, PHC-NP, BN, MN (CNO #07303553). We use only Health Canada–approved hyaluronic acid fillers. The chin is a relatively safe area for filler placement — well away from major vascular structures — when performed by trained injectors with proper lower face anatomical training, which all our Master Nurse Injectors have.
Smooth, soften, and prevent visible lines while maintaining natural movement. We combine muscle-relaxing injectables for dynamic lines with collagen-stimulating treatments for static ones.
We typically combine muscle relaxation with collagen stimulation for the most natural, long-lasting results.
